Alliances And Affiliates
Organizations that are working on building Resilient Local Economies come in two types. Alliances are solely focused on the independent businesses ecosystem (they often have names that include terms like Independent Business Alliance, Go/Stay Local, etc. Affiliates are organizations that place a high priority on the local independent business ecosystem, but also have other responsibilities, like Chambers of Commerce or economic development agencies.
